Curious as a kid to know what goes on at a fish hatchery? Christine Steensma, Park Interpreter, will take us big kids on a free 45-minute tour, on Wednesday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m., to learn about the operation of the hatchery. After the tour, we will have the opportunity to fish at the big pond. Fishing gear is provided at no charge.
There is plenty to see and do at the hatchery. You can stroll the nature trails, experience the underground viewing chamber, and visit the train car. There is also a gift shop in the visitor center.
