Senior Snowshoe Event at Goodhart Farms Nature Preserve on Wednesday, January 12

Join us for our first adventure of 2022! Sarah Koetje, LTC Education Specialist, will lead our group through forest trails and scenic rolling fields that offer Lake Michigan views.

This is a great opportunity, even if you have never snowshoed before. The Conservancy is providing snowshoes at no cost, or bring your own. Sarah will assist in getting geared up properly before starting the trek.

Directions:
From Harbor Springs, take State Road north 9 miles to Robinson Road. Turn left (west) on Robinson and travel 3½ miles to the parking area on the left.

Senior Snowshoe Event at Susan Creek Nature Preserve on Wednesday, February 16

Another snowshoe opportunity! Sarah Koetje, LTC Education Specialist, will lead our group on a hunt for hearts in nature. We’ll look for them everywhere: on trees, leaves, rocks, in the sky, and more.

Directions:
11 miles west of Petoskey’s intersection of US-31 and US-131, the entrance to Susan Creek is 0.6 miles southwest of Big Rock Road (the access to the Big Rock Restoration Site). The preserve runs across from the Little Traverse Wheelway.
