Senior Hike at Naas, Mauger, Raunecker, and Leslie Nature Preserve on Wednesday, July 28

Meet friends at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28 for a senior hike at Raunecker Nature Preserve. This hidden gem of a preserve is easy to walk and explore. Little Traverse Conservancy Education Specialist, Sarah Koetje, will guide us to see the beautiful spring-fed pond and cedar growth. We may even find our way to a secret Lake Michigan viewing spot.

Directions:
From Main Street in downtown Harbor Springs, travel west past Holy Childhood Church until the road dead-ends on Traverse Street. Take a right and travel four blocks to Fourth Street. Turn left. The preserve entrance is about ¼ mile on the left.

Senior Hike at Fields Preserve on Wednesday, August 25

Join us for an informative hike at this Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy Preserve. Connor Dennis, Director of Conservation Programs, and Jac Talcott, Watershed Stewardship Program Coordinator, will lead us through the preserve which features good birding, open fields, hardwood forest, cedar swamp, and natural spring and stream.

Directions:
From US 31 and Resort Pike Road: Go South 3.5 miles on Resort Pike. Parking is on the left.
From US 131 and Williams Road: Go West 1.5 miles to Resort Pike Road. Turn left. Parking is on the left.
