Friendship Centers of Emmet County is planning a hot meal, curb-side pick-up for the upcoming months for seniors. These meals are available by minimum suggested donation of $3.00 per meal, but no one will be turned away for inability to donate, and are reserved for SENIOR CITIZENS, age 60+ and their spouses only. You must call by a certain date for each meal to pre-order.

On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, we will be serving ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, dinner roll, and carrot cake.

Seniors, age 60+, MUST place their order by Monday, April 12. Call (231) 347-3211 Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Seniors will have to give their name and date of birth when placing an order. Orders are limited to a maximum of two meals; one for themselves and one for their spouse or caregiver.

Orders can be picked up between 11:00 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, April 21 at the Petoskey Friendship Center. (Please note, this same menu will be served to Meals on Wheels clients on this day.)

Beginning in May, curb-side pick up will be weekly.

The meal on Wednesday, May 5 includes spaghetti with meat sauce, winter blend vegetables, garlic biscuits, and dessert. Please note that orders for this meal must be placed by Monday, April 26.

The meal on Wednesday, May 12 includes beer-battered Tavern Pollack, seasoned diced potatoes, Normandy blend vegetables, coleslaw, dinner roll, and dessert. Orders for this meal must be placed by Monday, May 3.

The meal on Wednesday, May 19 includes Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, and dessert. Orders must be placed by Monday, May 10.

The meal on Wednesday, May 26 includes BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans, biscuit, and dessert. Orders must be placed by Monday, May 17.

All orders must be picked up on its particular day between 11:00 a.m. and noon. Special requests for meal substitutions will not be made.
