Crochet Class at Petoskey Friendship Center

The Crochet Class is starting back up on Tuesday, October 10. No experience is necessary and the group is open to all with or without experience. Sharon will show you how to get started. Experienced folks are welcome to bring their own project to work on. The group is also open to those who would like to work on plastic canvas needlework.
Classes will take place at the Petoskey Friendship Center on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. Bring your own supplies: size G crochet hook, skein of yarn, and scissors.
Registration is not required.

 Holiday Crafting 

Chris Smith, an expert crafter, will lead us in creating a holiday tealight lamp and two sweet treat holders filled with goodies. Create them as gifts for dear ones or keep them for yourself. Dates are Friday, December 1 at the Petoskey Friendship Center and Monday, December 4 at the Huber Senior Center. The crafting starts at 1:00 p.m. at both locations.

$10 payable at event.

Sit and Paint with Christine at Petoskey Friendship Center

Christine Nola, a local artist from Cheboygan, teaches paint classes around northern Michigan. She will lead us step by step to create this northern lights with bear silhouettes painting, which reflects her love of nature.

This event, open to all seniors, regardless of painting experience, is Friday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Petoskey Friendship Center. The cost is $15.00 per person, to be paid at the event. All materials will be provided and you will depart with a finished painting!
